Earthquake Thoughts

The Earthquake Assimulator arrived at our school this morning. The kids couldn’t wait to get in and try the machine out. here are some of their comments they made afterwards.


When I was in it, it was fun. I was shaking. It was very shaky. I liked it .It was very shaky.

The truck was shaking and it was scary Samuel



The window was moving up and down and side to side and across. I was moving up and down and side to side and across.

The ground and walls were shaking and the box was shaking and the whole thing was shaking

It was shaking and the window was shaking and the whole thing was shaking and the table was shaking and the whole thing was shaking side to side and up and down and up and down. I had to hold on tight and I was shaking side to side.

The kids have been looking and noticing things about the slice of a kiwifruit. Here are some of their thoughts.


It looks like the sun in the seeds Ryan

It tastes sweet and in the middle is a sandcastle. It smells like an apple. Adam

It is sour and it’s got seeds and it is hairy and it is green and lines light green. Logan
